Risk Assessment Searching Mechanism (RASM)

The Risk Assessment Searching Mechanism (RASM) is a collection of authoritative Risk Assessment documents related to official government decisions concerning the commercial release of GMOs worldwide, irrespective of the individual authority's CBD signatory status, and was developed through funds made available by the Italian Ministry for Environment, for the Protection of the Territory and the Sea.

You can search this mechanism for information on LMOs / GMOs meeting the following selection criteria: taxonomical classification; OECD identifier or Company identifier; trait; gene; year (assessment date); country and type of authorised use.

Relevant criteria may be selected from the appropriate drop-down menus. Please note that the given sequence of the inserted gene(s) is the actual published sequence where possible, otherwise the natural, non-modified sequence is provided instead.
